A private collection of over 40 Liberty & Co. Tudric and Cymric clocks made between 1901-1910 (the majority during 1902-1905). 24 clocks are authenticated Archibald Knox design. Several others embody elements either designed by Knox or were heavily influenced by him.

Being first exposed to Liberty, the seasoned international collector was attracted to Archibald Knox viewing him as a pioneer of the modern 20thcentury design and art more broadly. Of particular note is Knox incorporation of tradition Celtic decorative elements and the influence of the Glasgow school of art. The collection was assembled one piece at a time from a large number of sources, primarily dealers and auctions.
